Research topic

My topic for the research paper is Religion in Public Schools. I think this topic is really good, and the question i came up with was pretty good also; The question is: Would an optional religion class, exclusive to one religion, be accepted into high school curriculum throughout the nation? I would just like to know what you, my classmates and proffesor think about this.
